Stainless steel strip for watches and eyewear
Springs, temples and small precision components.
Watchmaking and eyewear
In fine mechanics, stainless strip becomes springs, hinges, temples, nose pads and small parts: tiny pieces that demand precision, a careful finish and corrosion resistance.
In fine mechanics the parts are small but visible: springs, hinges, temples and plates need tight tolerances and a surface that stays bright after polishing and treatments. 3S supplies AISI 316L stainless strip in the bright annealed 2R/BA finish, or AISI 301 and 304 in the work-hardened 2H condition for spring components. Thicknesses from 0.05 mm and narrow widths from 3 mm, with EN or ASTM tolerances, are verified by 100% dimensional control. We also consider small batches and light spools from 15 kg, suited to niche production and precision work. Edges can be deburred, giving parts that are safer to handle and easier to finish.
