Stainless steel strip for industrial blades
Industrial cutting blades, thin blades and knives.
Industrial blades and cutlery
Blades for cutting paper, film, food and textiles, thin blades and cutlery. Flatness, hardness and a surface suitable for sharpening are what matter.
A blade that is not flat cuts unevenly, vibrates and wears faster; inconsistent thickness changes stiffness and grinding quality along the edge. 3S supplies stainless strip and sheets with good flatness, consistent thicknesses up to 2.50 mm in the work-hardened condition, typically 1.00 to 2.50 mm, and tolerances to EN or ASTM, verified by 100% dimensional control. Flexible blades often use the work-hardened 2H condition, while specific grades and conditions, for example for hardenable blades, can be assessed on request. Material is available as narrow strip from 3 mm, in widths up to 1250 mm and as sheets cut to size.
