Stainless steel strip for hose clamps
Worm-drive hose clamps and ear clamps.
Hose clamps
Hose clamps secure hoses and sleeves onto fittings and hose barbs. The strip is blanked, punched and bent: it must be strong, must not rust and must not cut into the hose.
In worm-drive hose clamps the band width must match the housing and screw exactly: too wide and it jams, too narrow and it loses clamping force. The edges must also not cut into the rubber hose. 3S supplies stainless strip in AISI 304 and 430 in narrow widths with tolerances to EN or ASTM, verified by 100% dimensional control, and deburred or rounded edges on request. Thicknesses are matched to the clamp class, while spools with parallel or traverse winding feed blanking, perforating and forming lines continuously. A 3.1 certificate is available on request.
