Trowels and building tools

Stainless steel site tools stay clean, do not rust and keep the blade’s elasticity. The strip is blanked, shaped and polished.

Trowels, spatulas and floats must flex without permanent deformation and stay smooth after polishing. That is why work-hardened 2H strip is used, giving the blade elasticity and wear resistance. 3S supplies strip and sheets with consistent thicknesses, good flatness and EN or ASTM tolerances verified by 100% dimensional control, in widths up to 1250 mm to blank large blades with little scrap. Material can be supplied as strip, in cut lengths or as sheets cut to size, depending on your blanking and shaping process. Strip from 3 mm wide is also available for smaller tools and accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Request a quote
Sheet or strip for making trowels?
It depends on volumes: coiled strip feeds automatic presses for large runs, while sheets cut to size are convenient for medium runs or varied formats.
Which condition gives the blade the most elasticity?
The work-hardened 2H condition provides the strength needed for the blade to flex and spring back. The degree of hardening is chosen according to thickness and tool use.
