Alloy 625 nickel alloy strip
Nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy: for the most aggressive environments and high temperatures.

Description
Alloy 625 (EN 2.4856, NiCr22Mo9Nb, UNS N06625) is a nickel alloy with around 21% chromium, 9% molybdenum and 3.5% niobium. It combines excellent corrosion resistance in very aggressive environments, such as seawater, acids and flue gases, with high mechanical and fatigue strength up to high temperatures. It does not suffer from chloride stress corrosion cracking and is used in the chemical and petrochemical industry, aerospace, exhaust systems, bellows and components for boilers and offshore installations. 3S supplies Alloy 625 precision strip in the annealed condition, as strip, narrow strips and spools from 0.05 to 0.70 mm.
Properties
- Excellent corrosion resistance in very aggressive environments
- Immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking
- High mechanical and fatigue strength at high temperature
- Good weldability and formability
