Spools: stable pay‑off and less machine downtime
For automated lines: more usable length, fewer changeovers.

Continuous feeding
Spools ensure continuous feeding with stable pay‑off, reducing machine downtime.
- Inner diameter: 50 to 400 mm; outer diameter customisable according to width and thickness.
- Winding: traverse or parallel, direction on request.
- Weight: 15 to 1500 kg per spool.
| Parameter | Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Spool ID | 50 – 400 mm | Based on the customer’s line |
| Spool weight | 15 – 1500 kg | Depending on thickness/width |
| Winding | Parallel • Traverse | Traverse = longer continuous length |
| Typical grades | Spools: AISI 304, 316L, 316Ti and 321, annealed Large reels: AISI 301, 201, 304, 430 and austenitic 1% Ni (200 series, type J4), work-hardened or annealed | Spools for spiral wound gaskets; large reels for window spacers, springs and stampings |
| Thickness | Annealed 0.05 – 0.70 mm Work-hardened 0.05 – 2.50 mm | Typical: 0.075 – 1.00 mm |
| Width | 3 – 60 mm | Typical: 3.5 – 30 mm |
| Edge | Sheared • Deburred | Improves guiding and safety |
